AETHERTERMS
Straightforward terms for the build.
These terms cover the web design service - the sites built for businesses. They are separate from the AETHER content platform's own product terms.
THE SERVICE
Two kinds of project.
Landing and brochure sites - a clear site that gets a business found and contactable online. Full-stack sites and web apps - with payments, logins, a database or other custom functionality.
PAYMENT
50% starts the build. 50% before launch.
A 50% deposit is required before any work begins, and that deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 50% is due on delivery, before the finished site goes live or the handoff is provided.

REVISIONS AND TIMELINE
Two rounds included.
Every project includes 2 rounds of revisions. Additional rounds beyond that may incur an extra fee, quoted before the work starts.
Estimated timelines are given per project and depend on you supplying the required materials - logo, photos and text - promptly. Delays in supplying materials delay the project accordingly.
HANDOFF
The site and its keys are yours.
On receipt of final payment the site is deployed to your own hosting account, and you receive the login and keys to that account. Domain names are your own asset and expense - there are no ongoing domain fees charged here.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Content you supply is yours to use.
You are responsible for the accuracy of all content you provide, and confirm you have the right to use any images, text or logos supplied for the project.
LIABILITY
Delivered as-is on completion.
Work is delivered as-is on completion. There is no liability for downtime on your own hosting, outages of third-party services the site relies on, or losses arising from your use of the site after handoff.
AFTER HANDOFF
Later changes are a new request.
Once a site is handed off, future edits or additions are treated as a new, separately paid request - or covered by an optional ongoing care plan if one is agreed.
